When do I receive a travel offer?
Our Travel Expert will contact you by email within 2 working days and provide you with the first travel offer so that you can start planning your trip together. You are warmly welcomed to make an appointment for a first telephone conversation with your travel expert to discuss about your planned vacation.
How is the travel planning done?
We can reach you through email, whatsapp, Skype or by direct call to advise and guide you through various tailor made travel suggestions, activities, accommodation types and price options and will be happy to assist you personally with your planning.
How do I book my trip?
Once your travel plan is finalized, you can book your individual tour directly with us. Your Travel Expert will be available to offer you the best-priced vacation plan without any intermediaries. Even after the booking gets confirmed, any short term changes or inclusion of any other activities or programs can be discussed and arranged at any time as per the traveler’s request.
Are flights included in the travel price?
Please note that we are currently unable to offer international long-haul flights. However, we are of course happy to help you with the flight booking. We offer short-haul flights from Colombo to Male on the Maldives as part of our travel modules.
How do I pay my trip?
Once the booking is confirmed, you pay your trip directly to our agency in Sri Lanka. A deposit of 20% should be paid to reserve at the time of confirmation and the balance amount can be transferred 30 days prior to your arrival.
You have the option of making the payments via international bank transfers or credit cards. Please note that the payment transfer fee (transmitter fee) would cost 30 Euros and the amount could slightly vary from bank to bank and therefore cannot be precisely determined in advance. When making payments through bank transfers, please indicate “OUR” – transmitter pays costs and send us the receipt to finalize the booking confirmation.
In order to keep the payment fees low, we recommend proven online payment service providers such as Transfer Wise , Xoom By Paypal , azimo . The transfer fees for credit card payments are currently 3.5%, but can vary depending on the provider.
Amendments and Cancellation policy
In the event of cancellation, unless otherwise agreed, the following conditions apply:
Up to 30 days before the actual start of the trip, a cancellation fee of 20% will be charged from the total travel price.
Between 15 and 29 days before the actual start of the trip, a cancellation fee of 30% will be charged from the total travel price.
Between 7 and 14 days before the actual start of the trip, 60% of the price will be retained.
If 6 days or less before the start of the trip, a cancellation fee of 90% will be charged from the total travel price.
We recommend buying a travel cancellation insurance.
How do I receive a hotel voucher?
Our trips are always personalized and tailor-made according to your suggestions and there are no standard offers. You will always be accompanied by your chauffeur guide, who will be the first point of your contact for all questions during your private trip. He will ensure your hotel bookings and check-ins runs smoothly during your trip.
What information will I receive before travelling?
You will receive the name and contact details of your driver and your destination expert two weeks prior to your arrival. The driver will then, pick you up upon arrival at the airport and take care of all your needs. You will also be provided with a mobile phone and sim card on site so that you can always be connected.
Who do I contact in an emergency during my trip?
The first point of contact is your chauffeur guide who will always be around the clock. Depending on the type of emergency, your guide will advise and connect you with the responsible staff of our company so that we can assist you with quick decisions. In addition, you can always contact your Travel Expert who is always available around the clock.
How do I get my entry Visa?
For Sri Lanka, you have the possibility to apply your visa online via the ETA system: Online Visa Sri Lanka. The visitor visa is valid for 30 days after entry. Visa fees are $ 35. The Visa on Arrival costs $ 40 – there may be extended waiting times at the airport. The passport must be valid for 6 months after the travel date.
There are two ways to apply for your visa to enter India. You can apply for your visa directly through the visa department at the Indian embassy or consulate. The second way is to apply for visa online through Online Visa India, this process takes about three to four working days and the cost of the visa is around 100 euros. The passport must be valid for 6 months after the travel date.
When entering the Maldives, you will receive a 30-day residence permit (tourist visa) in the form of a stamp in your passport. The passport must be valid for 6 months after the travel date.
