Day 1
WELCOME TO THE TEARDROP ISLAND!!!!
Ayubowan! Have an amazing and tremendous get-away! With a striking welcome, we welcome you to the well-known teardrop island. After landing at Katunayake International Airport and welcomed by our chauffer guide, he will drive you to explore the sunbaked, dazzling streets of Colombo.
Day 2
EXPLORE THE VIBRANT COLOMBO
Embark on an extraordinary journey today– a Tuk-Tuk ride around Colombo. Visit all the must-see sites in Colombo on a vibrant three-wheeler. From the Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple to the Pettah floating market and the replica of the Aukana Buddha Statue and the BMICH, Tea tasting experience followed by authentic welcome Lunch. The sightseeing experience on a tuk-tuk will be unforgettable
Day 3
MILLENIUM ELEPHANT FOUNDATION
After a hearty breakfast , leave for Millenium Elephant Orphanage. The orphanage offers you the chance to get up close and interact with the jumbos. Join them at their bathing time in the morning as the babies gulp down huge bottles of milk and the grownups munch on juicy fruits and green leaves. Follow them as the mighty herd goes down to the river to spend some time scrubbing and playing with water. In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and attend the evening Pooja with the pilgrims gathered. Spend the night at a hotel in Kandy.
Day 4
VISIT THE DAMBULLA ROCK CAVE TEMPLE
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, Pack up your bags and head off to Excurse the City of Dambulla and trek your shoes to climb off the Lion Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by King Kasyapa. The king who committed patricide made the boulder his palace and a military fort. In the evening, visit the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, considered to be the largest cave temple in Sri Lanka. The caves were converted to a temple by King Walagamabahu and today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to your hotel in Kandy.
Day 5
VISIT THE ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDEN
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya in the morning.The garden has many endemic and indigenous plant varieties and boasts a wide collection of colorful exotic orchids.Follow the tea trails of the famous authentic Ceylon tea. Visit a tea plantation and tea factory. Enjoy complimentary high tea. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6
BENTOTA – TRAVEL TOWARDS THE CRYSTAL BLUE SEA
After Breakfast leave the green lushes towards the crystal blue seas . Arrive at Bentota and relax the day at the beach. Afterward, embark on a Sri Lankan boat adventure in Bentota and set out on a river escapade! You can travel across the mangrove forests and its tributaries as you relax in the peaceful sights and sounds of the nature.
Day 8
GOOD BYE; SRI LANKA!
Time to say “Good bye” with friends made over the course of your incredible tour. Depending on the flight time you can either relax or check out of the hotel. Recollecting all your mesmerizing memories until we meet again.
